Three weeks ago, a small private plane crashed severely injuring Stephanie Nielson, aka NieNie, a blogger. NieNie’s husband Christian was burned over 30% of his body, and Stephanie was burned over 80% of hers. Flight instructor Doug Kinneard died in the crash.

If any of you were to doubt of the kindness of the community, people like Wendy Brandes will knock you right out of it. Holding a benefit auction to help raise the money to pay for medical expenses needed for NieNie and her husband’s recovery.

Wendy is currently auctioning the gorgeous Silver Diana Pendant, if it’s anything like the Diana ring (which I tried on at a dinner with Ms. Brandes last year) it’s beautifully formed, way more touchy feely than any other piece of silver I’ve ever felt.
