I’m not sure how many of you use Feedburner, but if you’re using it to manage and track your RSS subscriptions then it’s important to know that they are asking FeedBurner users to move their accounts to Google by February 28, 2009. I just moved my feeds over for these two blogs, and it was relatively painless. I just clicked the button to move the blogs, then they sent me an email with the new feed address, which I had to change in my FeedBurner plugins and a couple of my ‘subscribe buttons’ on the blogs, all in all it took about 3 minutes.
What happens if you don’t move your account?
“…if your account has not been updated, you will no longer be able to access your account at http://www.feedburner.com, and your feeds will either begin returning a “404 Not Found” response or a “301 Moved” response back to your source feed.” via Feedburner to Google FAQ
Have any of you moved your account yet? Do any of you use a different RSS feed manager? I’d like to know your experiences.

I moved mine over last week, as Mallory alerted me to the change. It was relatively harmless, though I found that my feed updates having been showing up MUCH more slowly now….it was taking them a half day to day to post!
I just moved mine.. it was really quick, just 3 clicks. The stats are sooo much better and I definitely agree with @ashe much better!
Finally…Google analytics!
Thanks so much for the reminder!
I’m a newcomer to FeedBurner and signed up via feedburner.google.com, so I should be okay.
wowzee, i had no idea, thank you so much for telling me!
Thanks for the tip, I didn’t know either. Speaking of Google, I haven’t been able to view anything in Internet Explorer now for months. Is there a place to contact Google directly for help?
