   God, they are both SO adorable. I think this is the first time I’ve seen the face behind Jak and Jil, and Tommy is –they’re both— just adorable. It’s also amazing to hear and see them talk about their experiences, read their expressions, on something like Fashion Week.

   this is brilliant. i had the chance to speak with susie for quite a while when she was in new york, and i loved her and so did my friends who were with me. wish i could have met tommy!!

   i attended a special panel of speakers that included the boys from proenza schouler, alexander wang, buyers from opening ceremony, and the owner of milk studios, and it was mc-ed by miss suzy with-a-curl-on-her-head menkes. much of the whole discussion was about the internet and blogging, and how bloggers ARE the next thing, although suzy menkes could NOT stop talking about how she’s annoyed that bloggers think we can take over her role as a journalist. to which i wanted to tell her, we never said we were doing that!

   i took some notes from that panel which i should probably write about! it was quite interesting.

   this is quite revolutionary – I wonder how’s it going to be next season! A whole front row of bloggers instead of editors and celebs? Laptops for everyone? The end of fashion journalism as we know it?

   this was a great interview. bloggers are the future. i think the rest of the fashion world realizes that now.

   I’m an avid believer that there is room for bloggers and fashion editors as the two complement each other. Obviously blogging is instant gratification but there is something so gratifying about feeling a magazine in your hands and printed word and images vs. looking at things online.
