This week’s Blogger Spotlight goes to the darling Cafe Fashionista!

Why did you start blogging?
I have been writing for as long as I can remember. It has always been a dream of mine to have my very own magazine – a periodical that girls could read and enjoy on a daily basis. Given the fact that I’m not an heiress (though I wouldn’t mind being one) and didn’t have the funds to start my own magazine on a whim; blogging was the easiest (and most affordable!) alternative. And so Café Fashionista was born.

What is most inspirational for you when blogging?
Music. I always say that “every moment in life deserves a soundtrack.” I feel that everything I blog about stems from a song lyric or a melody that I may have heard. To me, life is a runway, and music is the backbone of it all. It inspires what I’m wearing, which, in turn, inspires what I’m blogging about.
The websites We Heart It and Tumblr are also pretty inspirational for me when blogging – I can spend hours browsing through the pictures on those websites. So many of them are just…magical. They really spark a creativity within me – and that is translated through what I write about on Café Fashionista.

Describe the type of man or woman who would love Café Fashionista…
Someone who loves music, fashion, and coffee. I like to think of Café Fashionista as a morning (or afternoon or evening) meeting place for people who love fashion. I want anyone who visits to think of it as a daily ritual, an addiction of sorts, where they are amongst friends. We may be thousands of miles away from one another, or residing right next door; the thing that unites us is fashion. Hence the title Café Fashionista.
