Tell us a little about Glitter Guide?

Glitter Guide is a fashion and lifestyle blogazine. Glitter Guide promises to provide you with glitz and glamor. Our newsletter offers fun, chic, and colorful lifestyle tidbits from fashion to fitness; each injected with a healthy dose of glitter. Our team aims to delight, inspire and ultimately make your life sparkle from the inside out. We believe a smile is a woman’s best accessory, that sequins are appropriate no matter what the occasion and that some days simply require a glass of champagne. We hope to encourage your creative energy and add “sparkle” to your day!

2. How do you monetize Glitter Guide?

We’re only about three months old and are still working on our advertising infrastructure. We use banner ads, sponsored posts, giveaways, etc. We also have exciting plans for the future that will hopefully monetize the site as well!

3. How has blogging effected your career?

Two and a half years ago I would have never guessed my career would be in blogging! I started it purely for fun without even thinking about making money. It’s really made me more entrepreneurial and creative. It would be very hard for me to go back to a normal 9-5 now. Not that there aren’t challenges. It’s very difficult. The difference is I love what I’m doing!

4. What are you working on now?

My main goal every day is to make sure we have fun and interesting content. I’m also working on events for NYFW–we will be covering the excitement daily. Plus, I’ve got some exciting collaborations up my sleeve!

5. What is the most important piece of advice you would give to aspiring bloggers?

To stay true to yourself. It can get really tempting to to be something or try something just because it seems like it’s the cool thing to do but ultimately you won’t really be successful (and happy) unless you are doing what YOU love!

Girls I love your blog and I love receiving my daily dose of glitter! I would like to know more about the story of your blog, when did you get the idea? How many visit you have daily? When did you start adding ads on your site?
Do you use some marketing strategies for it or only social networks? I’m a new blogger too and I really need tips from girls like you! Thanks!

Very cool content, thanks for sharing.
My only thing is maybe not to have so much going on,so to make it more structured, its a bit overwelming visually for my taste but I will be following to see how it goes, lovely content though. :)
