Costello Tagliapietra SS12: Cross Seasonal Dressing

3 Comments 11 September 2011

According to Color Me Beautiful, I’m an “Autumn.” That’s great from September to November, but the rest year? Well, let’s just say I fudge it, wearing tones that nod to my season. The duo Costello Taglipietra showed off their Spring Summer collection at Milk Studios, the first thing I thought was, sienna, gold, brown, robin’s egg blue? It’s as if Spring and Autumn had a baby and this was what we got. With these soft colors came a romantic woman, there were a lot of 30′s and 40′s undertones, dresses with long sleeves and ruching and fluttering silks. It’s the stuff that classic films were made of.
