Zero Maria Cornejo: For the working woman that doesn’t want to fade away in suits

The name may not yet be household but the following that Maria Cornejo has is fervently addicted to her clothes that are for the working woman that doesn’t want to fade away in suits.  Her way with silk separates and subtle but striking prints was demonstrated at her S/S 12 show which although was a riot of colour, it never took away the attention from Cornejo’s mastery of draping and shape shifting pieces.  The abstracted prints dropped in with the solid shades in complete harmony and once again, Cornejo scores a home run in providing wardrobe cornerstone pieces.

Ha ha…I don’t think I could have worn any of this during my days at Lehman Brothers. Very nice though.

  2. I loove Zero Maria Cornejo!! Her clothes have always such interesting fits, shapes, cuts and drapes, and are always always elegant… They may lack a playful touch, but that what smart styling is for, right? ;)
