Event Recap: Inside Generation Style

When we first started to envision how we wanted the Inside Generation Style event to look and feel, we had dreams of a Parisian cafe, bloggers-turned models, sipping lattes, working away, and wearing fabulous clothes.

I’m not sure any of us were really prepared for just how close to our initial visions the runway show and event actually turned out! We had perfectly spring-like French pop music playing (Brigitte Bardot, anyone?) as our 15 amazing fashion bloggers, including Jenni Radosevich, Gabi Gregg, Samantha Lim, Laura Ellner, Ann Somma took to the runway (and hung out at a cafe table on their Ultrabooks). Not to mention, they worked the catwalk in gorgeous designs from Orla Kiely and Norma Kamali’s Kamali Kulture, as well as shoes from Just Fabulous and jewelry from Bauble Bar.

With a sold-out crowd and over 12 million impressions generated on Twitter, we were absolutely blown away by all the buzz. The event helped to validate the power of bloggers and their sphere of influence in the fashion digital community.  Using the event’s unique hashtag, #ultrabookstyle, nearly 1800 tweets from 500 contributors all across the world were shared! Couple that with more than 200 Instagram photos from the event and I’d say we had quite the social media blitz.

We owe a huge thanks to everyone who helped us put this event together – we couldn’t have done it without you!

Check out some fabulous photos and Instagrams from the event!
