From the good to the bad to the so-bad-it’s-good, there’s no denying that our society has an obsession with reality TV. We love to watch “real” people in “real” situations, and how they react and interact with each other.

We believe that the general population out there beyond Internet-land might have a bit of a misguided idea of what a blogger’s life is like. As you know, we have jobs, relationships, friends and passions beyond our computer screens.

We’ve always thought it would be interesting to make a show around the life of a fashion blogger, and here are the five we think would be the most entertaining in their own show:
  • Chiara Ferigni, The Blonde Salad:  with all the jet-setting she does to exotic locations like Greece and Thailand, we can’t but think it would be entertaining to follow her chic adventures.
  • Bryan Yambao, BryanBoy: we know it’s just been confirmed that he will be on the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model, but we’re pretty sure he could carry his own series.
  • Jamie Beck, From Me To You: Through her lens, life is always beautiful, and we can’t help but wonder what it would be like to turn the cameras around and see what inspires her and follow her travels from Dubai to New York and most recently, Morocco.
  • Erica Domesek, P.S. – I Made This…: She’s our reigning queen of the DIY blogging world, and we think it would be amazing to go behind the scenes of how she turned her blog into an entire media company.
  • Scott Schuman, The Sartorialist and Garance Dore: There’s no denying the influence of this blogging power couple, and from fashion weeks around the world to professional gigs with major magazines, we think their lives would be fascinating to follow.

Do you think you would watch a reality show starring a blogger? Who would you like to see on TV?

I would, I think it would actually be a reality show I’d bother to watch! I’m not really a fan of her blog, but I think Tavi would make a great reality show. Also, Jane from Sea of Shoes!

    • taylordavies says:

Oh yes, it would be very interesting (and entertaining) to see how Tavi manages her career, school, family and friends at such a young age!

  2. Deborah says:

  4. I think I would love to see Garance Doré! She has such an amazing personality. Even though she already has her own “Pardon My French” video series, I think seeing her on a reality tv would be super entertaining!

  5. “Keeping up with Bryan Boy” would make my night! Also I think having the Man Repeller on reality tv would be brilliant.
Then I might actually have to start watching t ;)

    • Aves Gry says:

Omg yes! Leandra Medine should have a tv show. I love her personality. I actually feel in love with her through youtube, watching her interviews and such.

  6. Aves Gry says:

I would love to see a reality tv show about a blogger’s life. It would be interesting and maybe inspiring too.

    THATS GRYT, Aves Gry

  7. debi c says:

i think i would add tavi to the list..not a fan of chiara…

  8. I would love to see Garance Dore or Garance and Scott together in a reality tv show. I really enjoyed Garance’s Pardon My French video series. And, The Man Repeller is a natural for tv if ever there was one!

  9. Dario says:

Not sure Chiara Ferragni would be a great pick for a Tv show. In Italy , although famous, she does gets bashed after every collaboration she does and she often had negative press.
We’ll see how BBoy will do as he comes across as a genuine and sweet guy.

    • taylordavies says:

That’s interesting Dario! What kind of “bashing” happens when she does collaborations? And I agree, I’m so excited to see how Bryan is on ANTM!

  10. Angie says:

OMG that would be so awesome. I’d definitely watch that.

  11. Dee says:

well…chic doesn’t match with “style” bloggers, at all. They’re more similar to a county carnival than a fashion event.

What do you think?
