Nope, haven’t felt lazy at all, but it’s kind of a joke since I just started blogging like two months ago, so I’m still enjoying every moment! Just need a little more traffic coming my way, and some interaction from the readers, or I might get boored soon enough..

I wish I had more time to put in my blog but like this week I have a deadline for a project for uni so I’ve obviously put my blog on the bottom of the list. Just a shame as I really have the ideas on what to post next. Hope it stays that way :)

This is true. I need to get more motivated in my blog, lately I’ve noticed it’s been lacking some of its creativity. The fall months make it hard though, it’s so dark all the time that it’s hard to get the photos you want!

  11. Abby says:

Not lasy per-say but with exams and work sometimes it feels as if it is such an effort to put a lot of effort into my blog when time is scarce.

I have so many ideas I want to do but just don’t have time at the moment.

Having said that I want to keep readers engaged so try my best to keep up.

Blogging is something I purely do for myself, I simply like to do it and that’s what keeps me going. Motivation is not the problem and I tend to have loads of ideas, the one thing that’s lacking, is time. University and my extracurricular activities always have my priority, which sometimes means I simply do not have a lot of time to put in my blog. I try to update my blog quite regularly, even when I don’t have a lot of time, by writing more time consuming posts during the weekend and less time consuming posts during school days. Some types of posts just take a lot more time than others.

Nice food-for-thought. Maybe admitting it out loud is the first step. I admit it.

My name is Raven + I’m plain old LAZY !!!

Not anything I’m proud of, but there it is :/

This article came in good time, I’ve been feeling a bit lazy when it comes to my blog, even though I created it and maintain it for me and for my pleasure. But for me it’s really hard to create an audience: I don’t live in a big city, I live in a small island from an economically decadent country. We have half dozen of shops, and some online stores have our post code adress blocked. I don’t belong to any specific niche, I’m not skinny or even curvy enough to create an audience, I have a full time job and I live alone maintaining a house and etc. It’s really easy to just be lazy and get demotivated. I feel like I read so much about fashion and style, and I have some interesting opinions but if I even start to speak or post about it, I feel like everyone on my social media (who I actually know in real life) are judging me like “we’re on a crisis and you just speak about futilities?!”
And it’s true, laziness really affect the traffic and statistics. I wish I could have more will power sometimes. But at least this article came in good time…
