Happy Tuesday! Welcome to a new feature on IFB, where we introduce you all to some cool-meets-fashionable gadgets. Everything we feature will be geared towards the stylish blogger who’s tech-savvy, too!

The Gadget: iPhone 5 case, called iWhale

What it costs: $24

What it does: You wouldn’t think so initially, but this is one of the most functional phone cases I’ve ever seen. The whale tail functions both as a handy grip for taking photos as well as a stand for watching video content when placed on a flat surface. The case also opens, allowing you to store USB cords or headphones inside.

Why we picked it: Do we even have to say? It’s cool, and kind of hilarious while also being incredibly useful. The cheeky design is so clever, and the functionality is sort of genius. For anyone with an iPhone 5 who uses their phone frequently for music or watching videos – this is such a great idea (and would make a perfect gift).

Super design.. looks like shower ready, waterproof… this woud be super cool if the material was stretchy and would work on iPhone 4 and could stretch to iPhone 5 as well :)

I totally understand the functionality of it, but it seems so bulky. Maybe it’s not as big as it seems. But at this point I’d rather just get a retro, Zack Morris throwback case.

Cute… but will it fit in my purse? #priorities

(I’d kind of love to see this concept as a charging dock rather than a case)

It’s kind of cute but way too bulky for me!

It’s cute indeed but I’m still waiting for something cat-shaped….

Okay that is totally awesome. Only problem is when I don’t carry a bag, how can I slip it into my pocket…that thing looks huge!
