LFW Day 2 Favorites: Day of Opposites…

This post was brought to you by Mademoiselle Robot and SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED

It was a day for opposites at Somerset House. The day started with Daks who went for a very fifties take on Summer. Large checks in nautical colours, nipped in waists and full skirts – it was pretty much Betty Draper goes to the seaside. What’s not to love? Later on at Jaeger London, we jumped forward a couple decades and landed in a glamourous seventies world. The colour palette was very varied and absolutely gorgeous shades of camel alternated with pops of bright colours. The bags were especially stunning.

Finally, House of Holland was its usual fun, quirky show. This season was all about punk and Miami chic: lots of oversized prints in pastel colours. A really easy collection, very “wearable”.

Thank you for delivering the London scoop over to New York. I really wish I could be there for London Fashion Week. I’m a House of Holland die-hard-fan!
