IFB’s (we’re not going to) Coachella Playlist

As I mentioned in the project post last week, the IFB team is staying right her in New York while Coachella takes Palm Springs by storm this weekend (and the one after that). We're fresh off of our amazing Inside Generation Style show, but there's always more to be done. We're going to lay low in the boroughs, catch up with friends and blog our way through the weekend.

If you're anything like me, you hate working in silence. When I've got a lot to do, I need to keep focused, energized and excited about what I'm writing. My go-to solution for this? Music! This weekend, since we're not soaking up the sun, celebrity stalking, and traipsing barefoot through the grass, here's a playlist of IFB's favorite Coachella bands that will surely get your fingers tapping on those keys (and maybe even your hands waving in the air).

Feast your ears on 20 songs from Coachella artists to help you blog to the beat through the weekend:

  1. The Black Keys: Everlasting Light
  2. Radiohead: Creep
  3. M83: Midnight City
  4. Neon Indian: Deadbeat Summer
  5. Miike Snow: Devil's Work
  6. Calvin Harris: The Rain
  7. Florence + The Machine: What The Water Gave Me
  8. Fitz & The Tantrums: Don't Gotta Work It Out
  9. Beirut: East Harlem
  10. Gotye: Somebody That I Used To Know
  11. The Head & The Heart: Couer D'Alene
  12. Childish Gambino: Heartbeat
  13. Santogold: Les Artistes
  14. Real Estate: It's Real
  15. Feist: 1234
  16. Bon Iver: Holocene
  17. The Weeknd: Wicked Games
  18. Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg: The Next Episode
  19. David Guetta ft. Sia: Titanium
  20. Breakbot: Baby I'm Yours

What do you think of our playlist? There were so many artists we didn't even include, who would you be excited to see? Are you headed to Coachella this weekend, or will you be blogging on the couch like us?

We Were Promised Jetpack was one of the performances I was looking forward to this year! People should check out their “Conductor”.
