It's easy to feel the pressure to be “the best” when comparing to other people and what they are doing.
Truth be told, it doesn't feel good.
But when I try to be my own personal best, a whole other dialogue goes on in my mind. Like… “I wasn't able to do that last time, oh, I might be getting better!”
Challenging yourself is difficult, we tend not to realize when we're coasting, and then we are much harder on ourselves when we fail. But to keep in mind each day, our own worlds are waiting for us, it makes it easier to try to be the best we possibly can.
