IFB Project #124: Winter Whites

Ah, winter whites. Even if you live in a place that never snows… winter whites certainly make a statement. In the colder months, we usually opt to go dark with our wardrobes, that stand-by black coat, black boots, and chunky sweaters, it's easy to get caught up in practicality. Winter whites are not the most practical, but they are the most stylish! So even if you're not going to see the snow this year, make it a point to find a festive bit of white attire to make your winter statement this year.

IFB Project #124: Create a Look in Winter White

This week go for the monochrome sans-chrome. Dress all in white to fit the season. How is it different from summer whites? How is it different from bridal? What fabrics, textures, tones and silhouettes make a white outfit say WINTER?  I love how above Ashley from Ring My Bell, who lives in LA… where it's rarely cold puts on an outfit that's geographically appropriate, but still conveys the winter season. How does it look where you live? Share it with us!

I love white during the winter!! And when you really think about it…how is it any less practical during this season than during the summer?! I’ve been shopping for a white sweater to lighten up my cold weather looks…maybe to go with a pair of white denim skinnies?!

I’ve been wanting to play with white in winter. I live in Northern California where if it’s not raining there is no reason not to wear white. I can not wait to see what everyone comes up wirh.

Is it weird that I love winter whites as much as I do, and still don’t own any? Yep… that’s weird. Can’t wait to see the rest of the entries this week – white always looks so lovely!
