Scenario: You're logged into your business Instagram account, and you accidentally post a selfie in full duck face with the caption: “Turnt up, Friday!”
Instagram will soon help you avoid that embarrassment by making it possible to toggle between the accounts you manage. Wait, would that make it easier to mix up your accounts?
In any case, no more forgetting your login for your other account, looking it up, not remembering the password, looking it up, punching it in, realizing it's outdated, finding the newer one, then forgetting that really witty caption you were about to write.
Bottom line: An easy way to toggle between Instagram accounts without logging out would a good thing. And it looks like it's a feature that's coming soon—the catch is it's being beta-tested only in Android operating systems at the moment. And some users are reporting that the feature has disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
But I don't think I'm going out on a limb to say Instagram can't put that toothpaste back in the tube. Until a toggling capability is available for everyone, though, there are a few third-party apps you can try for managing multiple accounts, including Innbx and Schedugram.
