Someone once told me that your thirties are the best decade of your life. Your angsty teen years are more than a decade in the past, and perhaps you overcome that whole “figuring out who you are” thing of your twenties. Whether or not all that is true, it seems like the case for many of our favorite fashion and style bloggers. Cool, confident and accomplished – here are 30 fashion, style and street style bloggers who are all over the age of 30 – and showing the multitudes of 20-somethings a thing or two.

30 Bloggers over 30:

Who did we miss? Share your favorite bloggers over 30, or if you are one – by all means let us know!

  1. Lisa says:

I’m 36 years old, I’ve been in the fashion industry for 19 years and been blogging for 5. I have no plans to stop, but I do have plans to become better and better. I love blogging. It’s like a diary where you post your favourite moments.

    Lots of love!

Lisa – a Swedish fashion stylist in Dubai

  11. Christy Lorio says:

THANK YOU. I’m 32 and I definitely enjoy reading blogs from a slightly older perspective. I’m not one to jump on every trend like some of the 20 somethings, so it’s refreshing to see gals on the other side of 30 going for it!

      Awesome links! And 100% agreed.

As some of your replies, I’m more than 40 too and I began my blog last november. I think that is a good age, because now I have lot of things to share (even more than the young ones than only post with their new zara outfit).

Thanks for including us! We are honored. It’s nice to know ‘we still got it’ and that not all style bloggers are 22. We may be over 30 (actually 30 was a while ago), but our goal is to prove you don’t have to give up fashion for Mom jeans past a certain age. We also believe if you are 48 and still have great legs, you should wear a mini skirt…as long as it’s tasteful. Rock on, our middle aged sisters.

  31. Sound of Chic says:

The friend who encouraged (okay, pushed) me to start a style blog said: “Look, most of the other bloggers are like 12. You have to do this.”

So, I did. Sound of Chic is the marriage of two obsessions: fashion and music. Stop by and listen to some Stereolab.

  60. kate à la mode says:

What I love about being a part of SF’s awesome blogging community is that age is rarely an issue. The people I meet at events are mostly in their 20s – 40s, which is a pretty decent range.

I started my blog in January & just turned 31 on Sunday. :) Some of the people I’ve connected with online are under 20, others are over 50, and the best part is that we bond over fashion, not age.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see an increasing number of bloggers in their 60s, 70s, and beyond, as the computer generation continues to grow up!

  61. Nicole says:

I’m 33 years old this year and it’s great to know that there are so many people in my age group blogging.

  62. Kathleen Lisson says:

Thank you for this list. I have checked out the blogs and added a few to my bloglovin’ list. As a fashion blogger focused on hats, I gain a lot of style inspiration from checking out what other bloggers wear and especially how they style their hats. I recently had a roundup post of looks I tweeted about in May featuring over a dozen different bloggers! I am always surprised how ladies in different parts of America style their hats differently.

Don’t forget Idiosyncratic Fashionistas, speaking up for Women of a Certain Age. Mostly that tends to mean women over 50, but we also get our share of cool young people who aspire to be cool old people when their turn comes.

This week we look at the Schiaparelli / Prada show at the Met.

  132. Oceana says:

So far I think I’m the oldest fashion blogger at nearly 50 in a couple weeks. I write about eco style at http://www.oceanascanvas.com. When you get to be my age, so much more matters than being visually appealing. Even so, it’s nice to still turn a head or two with a fabulous outfit that also happens to be gentle on the Earth.

  153. Mary, We Heart Vintage says:

I’m just starting to do outfit posts on my vintage-inspired fashion blog at the grand age of 38 – which sounds old to me, but I figure if I don’t start now, I’ll look back in 10 years time and think, what was I waiting for! I felt the same sense of dread at being photographed at 28 and 18, so I’m just going to go for it!

I seriously need to do a survey for a sociology class I am taking and would appreciate it if you could fill this out(both guys and girls)-it should only take a minute or so. Just rate your answer from 1-10 next to each ? with one being no way with 10 being very important. Thanks. You can just put like #1. 10 for example if you feel strongly and agree with it —– it since you can’t circle the answer…thanks
