Halloween is in two days. I am hosting a Halloween party at my house and am frantically sewing, gluing, and putting everything together for the big day. But in the digital world, Halloween is an awesome time to get your readers engaged, thinking about all things spooky, whether it be a Halloween Costume, or to share some spooky inspiration. A few weeks ago, I mentioned what kinds of posts you can write, last minute. But, if you're more the visual kind and are looking for something a little more image based, here are places where you can get your Halloween on… online.
1. The Graphics Fairy
The Graphics Fairy has an excellent post of 50+ public domain clip art images you can use however you like!
2. Public Domain Review
Postcards from the edge. Public domain postcards to use to your heart's content!
3. Flickr's Victorian Portraits of People Pool
Some of these images are public domain, others are all rights reserved. Still a great place for inspiration.
4. WP Clipart
Remember clipart? Well, if you're going 1996 style, this is the site for you!
5. Pinterest: Vintage Halloween Images
Heather Worrel's board is quite the treat… with a few tricks.
6. Design Quixotic:
Has a wonderful roundup of Vintage Halloween Images
7. Viola.bz
Excellent roundup of Halloween Costumes!
9. Visual News
A lot of repeats from Viola.bz, but still worth the visit…
10. Pinterest: High Fashion Halloween
Not so many “creepy” images, but a bit of fashion and Halloween!
Great ♥Thank you!
Aw clipart! I think the postcards are my favorite.
Great post! Pinterest and Tumblr have helped a lot this year..
I’m going to be posting a Halloween moodboard tomorrow on my blog. I also have a Pinterest with some cool images for ideas for everyone.
