21 Link-Ups to Promote Your Outfit Posts

IFB » Traffic and SEO » 21 Link-Ups to Promote Your Outfit Posts

Never has there been more places to promote your blogs, and particularly, outfit posts! While, “What are you wearing” communities ie. Lookbok.nu have existed for a long time, not as well-known, but equally effective in terms of building community and traffic is participating in link-ups. IFB has been doing one called the IFB Project for now 117 weeks, so over two years, but it's by far not the only link up around. There are many, many, and just after poking around for an hour, I was able to find 20 link ups running right now that you can participate in. Most all of them have terms, like follow the host or link to the post, or place a badge on your site, but they're varied in topics and can be quite fun to join!

Hi! I am newer to the blogging world. I have only done one outfit post on my blog so far, but am looking to do more! I don’t exactly understand what you mean by “link-ups.” What are these? 🙂

Could you add SHARE-IN-STYLE.
It is an international link up with a topic every 2 weeks.

OK, so I’m a new blogger and had no idea what a linkup was. I clicked on a bunch of the blog links you listed, but it still wasn’t obvious to me. So, I googled it, as I still didn’t understand from your post. Can you direct me to a good resource that explains linkups, why I would want to use them, etc?

  Link-ups are a meme where people can submit posts on a particular topic as determined by the host. Each link-up has different rules, so pay attention before submitting your post!

Three-fer Thursday is actually hosted every week by Everyday Fashion & Finance AND Perfectly Coutured. It is not just Perfectly Coutured. If you are going to promote link ups, you should probably promote both blogs if they co-host it every week! Glitz & Gold’s link up is also co-hosted by another blogger.

  Wow.. yeah, I am going to just leave the list as is. The point of the post is about the link-ups, not the blogs. As stated in the post, I just poked around for an hour and this is what I found. I’m sure people can find the other blogs if they take a look.

This is a great list. I participate in a bunch of them!
I’m starting one this week actually, that will feature looks from the linkup the following week. It’s called ‘Inspired By’. It will be a great way to not only link up, but get traffic as you’re featured.

Thanks for posting these, you said you found these within an hour – how did you manage that? I’ve been looking for link ups that feature outfits/fashion blogger based but I can hardly find any! There are loads around for arts/crafts/food/mums but I only found 2 that were outfit based so far.

Anyway, thanks again. I’m going to book mark and check out the blogs when I have more time.
