Blog Milk Now Has Beautiful Themes for Blogger AND WordPress

Ah, the question of Blogger or WordPress. Both have been suffering from relatively nerdy designs lately compared to other platforms like Tumblr, Squarespace, and Virb. Even though WordPress has a history of customizing themes, still finding a simple and fashion-friendly base theme to work off of is difficult. I know, I've been searching for a new theme for Eat, Sleep, Denim for ages and finally found a theme on Blog Milk (the new ESD site launched yesterday). A year ago, I had posted about Blog Milk who had limited edition themes for Blogger. Now the shop has opened to WordPress so you don't have to make the headache-inducing move to WordPress (or vice versa) to get the look and feel you want for your blog. What's more, is that with the limit of 15 installations per design, your blog won't look like everyone else's.

These are premium themes, so they do cost around $79 to purchase. But for those who are not tech-savvy, and would rather spend their Saturdays galavanting around town than at the computer, it's well worth it, as the themes are indeed simple, but nuanced enough to stand out from the standard themes available. Some of the features that I like are the static navigation bar on “Structure,” and the elegant use of typography. Either way, it's worth a trip over to Blog Milk for inspiration.

They’re cute, but too simple for my brand.
Maybe when I buy a domain of my full name I’ll use one of these!

The PayPal checkout section is not in English and it also isn’t working. I want to purchase one of these. They look clean and nice.

Hey there! Unfortunately, I don’t have control over their paypal page, could you get in touch with them directly? I bought a theme last week and it was in English…

I love Blog Milk! I used it for my blog: http://mysocaldlife.com and added a few of my own touches (the category and social media buttons). Ana was really helpful when I had a technical question, too. Highly recommended!

They’re really great designs but a little bit expensive to me, I found some great Etsy shops with WP themes with the same style and for the half of the money, I think we’re paying a brand here, not only a template.

I currently use Structure for my blog and made a few tweaks to it on my own, but it’s been working really great for me 🙂

So far, I find that there isn’t a better template design estore better than Blog Milk’s but be prepared not to receive much customer service from them!
