Daily Inspiration: Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

something today future self

So much wisdom revloves around being in the moment and living for today. So why not hit two birds with one stone and do something today that will also benefit you in the future. Whether it be working on the foundation to building  your dream job, saving money for a rainy day (or retirement), using sunblock (or better yet, quitting smoking) to save your future skin. There are all these things you can do for your future self that can actually feel good in the moment.

What are you working on for your future self?

Oh my, I love this quote. This is exactly what I’m trying to do right now. I’m in my mid twenties, and I’m trying to really focus on myself and building a life that makes me happy. It means that it’s not easy now… but if all of this hard work and confusion pays off later, then it’s totally worth it, right?!

    Great tip!
I think every little matters. And it’s harder at first, but once it’s part of our daily things, we’ll do it 🙂

I was just thinking about this the other day. When you lose loved ones, you reflect on how you’re living and what your legacy will be. I’m working on getting healthier and investing time in my relationship, and improving my writing for my blog.

I love this quote! I have been trying to find happiness and working on it every day is a goal of mine. I am working more on having a positive attitude, saving money and eating healthier. I am in my mid twenties and have had a hard road so far, but I believe working on myself and my happiness will pay off in the future!
