Let’s start with the different types first:

DSLR

You have probably come across this a thousand times – DSLR stands for digital-single-lense reflex camera. Light travels through the lens, onto a mirror, and then reflects the image onto a prism or viewfinder. This technique usually makes the camera bulkier and heavier. DSLRs are extremely popular for hybrid shooting and they’re easy to spot because they usually have interchangeable lenses for the camera body.
